Your young people are capable of extraordinary things. But too many of them have never set foot on a college campus. They've never seen Black excellence celebrated on a homecoming Saturday. They've never imagined themselves in those spaces.
Southern Cross Journeys partners with churches, schools, and youth organizations to change that.
Our student group tours are designed for organizations ready to invest in their young people's futures. We handle every detail—transportation, lodging, meals, campus access—so your chaperones can focus on mentorship, not logistics.
When your students return, they won't just have visited colleges. They'll have seen a vision for their future they didn't know was possible.
Built for Organizations Like Yours
Churches & Faith Communities
Your youth ministry is already shaping young lives. A Southern Cross tour extends that mission—showing students that their faith community believes in their future. Many of our strongest partnerships are with churches that make HBCU tours an annual tradition.
Divine Nine & Greek Organizations
ntroduce the next generation to the institutions that shaped yours. Our tours are perfect for chapter youth initiatives, mentorship programs, and legacy-building events. Watch young people walk the same yards where you found your own community.
Jack & Jill, The Links, 100 Black Men
Your organizations exist to develop young leaders. Our tours are a natural extension of that mission—providing experiences that build aspiration, expand networks, and connect students to opportunity.
Schools & Educational Programs
Whether you're a private school, charter network, or college prep program, our tours provide access and exposure that transforms how students see their options.
More Than a Tour.
A Transformation.
Every year, thousands of families drive themselves from campus to campus—exhausted, overwhelmed, and wondering if they're making the right choices.
Southern Cross Journeys is different.
We've built relationships with admissions offices at HBCUs across the country. We time our tours to homecoming weekends when campus culture comes alive. We handle every detail so you can focus on what matters: discovering where your student will thrive.
This isn't just about finding a college. It's about finding a community.

Investment That Reaches Every Student
We believe every student deserves access to these
experiences—regardless of their family's financial situation.
That's why we work with organizations to structure pricing that works:
Group Pricing: Volume discounts for larger groups make per-student costs significantly lower than family tours.
Scholarship Support: Many of our partner organizations fundraise to subsidize costs for students who couldn't otherwise attend. We can help you structure this.
Payment Plans: We work with organizations to establish payment timelines that align with your fundraising calendar.
Sponsorship Connections: We're building relationships with corporate sponsors interested in supporting student access. Ask us about current opportunities.
